Our Stories:  "In this immensely complex and difficult situation, if there is ever to be hope for the future, we need to begin with the children."  Dalia Peretz, former principal. Read her story.

Our Stories: "Our political leaders talk about peace. The school that we have started together as Arabs and Jews is making peace, building it every day, every hour."Carmel Ron, parent. Read her story.

Our Stories: "Sometimes it’s hard being an Arab in Israel. But growing up in a school like mine, you don't tag a person ‘Arab’ or ‘Jew.’ We’re all just people, and that’s how we see each other. Some of my best friends are Jewish." Siwar, 11th grade. Read her story.

GET INVOLVED

Help us build Jewish-Arab coexistence and equality in Israel.

Hand in Hand: Center for Jewish-Arab Education needs you — and all of its volunteers, donors and friends around the world — to educate your community about our unique network of integrated, bilingual schools.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

  • Host an educational event in your home, school, mosque, synagogue, church, office or other community group.
  • Use a special occasion (birthday, bar mitzvah, etc.) as an opportunity to set up an online campaign to direct/request gifts for Hand in Hand. Facebook Causes and Justgive.org offer this service.
  • Start a "Friends of Hand in Hand" group in your community.
  • Travel to Israel to visit our schools and meet Jewish and Arab families.
  • Make a donation today.

We can get you started, and support you with information and materials. Contact us at info@handinhandk12.org.

For inspiration, you can read the stories of wonderful volunteers who have raised funds and awareness for Hand in Hand in the Our Stories section of this web site.
