Our Stories: "Sometimes it’s hard being an Arab in Israel. But growing up in a school like mine, you don't tag a person ‘Arab’ or ‘Jew.’ We’re all just people, and that’s how we see each other. Some of my best friends are Jewish." Siwar, 11th grade. Read her story.

LEARNING TOGETHER, LIVING TOGETHER

A radical, new way to educate children in Israel.

Hand in Hand: Center for Jewish-Arab Education is catalyzing a dramatic shift in Israeli education by offering a new educational model: bilingual, bicultural schools where Jewish and Arab children learn together.

Hand in Hand's mission is both educational and social. We seek to provide a first-class education while leveraging for broad social change at the family, community and national levels.
