Hand in Hand Students create a mural for the US Consulate in Jerusalem!

Watch the video

Students from the Max Rayne Hand in Hand Jerusalem School in grades 2-10 worked together with professional artists to create a mural that was put up in the US Consulate in Jerusalem On Wednesday, June 3!

"The Hand in Hand School represents something very important for a lot of people that go well beyond the students and families of that school, that go well beyond even the city of Jerusalem… I leave Jerusalem in just 3 weeks, and I leave more optimistic because I know there are places like this school."
- US Consul General Michael Ratney

This is the result of a collaboration between youth of various backgrounds-- Muslim, Jewish, Christian-- at the Hand in Hand School in Jerusalem.  The Artolution and I had an amazing experience working with some seriously talented kids, who collaborated to come up with a story-based mural design and then spent three days painting it with us.

- Joel Bergner

Enjoy!
