Ayala Shalev

Ayala Shalev is the Hand in Hand Kfar Saba community organizer.

Ayala brings over two decades of experience designing and leading dialogue-based educational initiatives, bi-national programs, and large-scale public projects bringing together Israeli and Palestinian communities. Prior to joining Hand in Hand, Ayala worked for Hands of Peace, Combatants for Peace, and the Israeli-Palestinian Bereaved Families Forum, where she led educational programming, facilitated groups, managed multidisciplinary teams, and shaped public-facing content and strategy. Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to equity, shared society, and transforming power structures.

Ayala holds an M.A. in Democratic Education and a B.A. in General Studies from Tel Aviv University, along with professional training in civic education, group facilitation, and nonviolent communication.
