Maya is the Jerusalem-Al Quds community organizer at Hand in Hand. Maya has been in the field of social change for over 20 years, working and volunteering in several feminist and human rights organizations. As part of her position at Hand in Hand, Maya is responsible for organizing activities for adults, parents, and families. She also is a part of the process of relationship building with local organizations, NGOs and communities promoting shared living in Jerusalem.
Maya lives in Jerusalem, with her husband and 4 children: 3 students and 1 graduate of the Hand in Hand bilingual school in Jerusalem. Maya is a trained social worker from the Hebrew University and has a masters in ‘Gender in the field’ from Bar Ilan University.
