Nasrin Oun

Nasrin Oun is the Principal of the Hand in Hand Haifa Preschool and a leading early childhood educator specializing in bilingual and multicultural learning environments. Nasrin brings over two decades of experience to her leadership—driven by a mission to nurture a generation rooted in partnership, dialogue, and a shared future. She is deeply committed to fostering shared society values from the earliest years, cultivating spaces where Arab and Jewish children grow together with linguistic equity, cultural respect, and strong interpersonal relationships.

Since 2015, Nasrin has been a core member of Hand in Hand Haifa’s educational team, co-leading bilingual classrooms, designing innovative pedagogical programs, and developing meaningful family and community engagement initiatives. As Deputy Director of the Haifa Preschool—a role she began in 2024—she advanced humanistic and inclusive approaches to early childhood education, and provided professional guidance and support to preschool teachers. In September 2025, she assumed her role as Principal of the newly expanded Hand in Hand Haifa Preschool.

She holds a B.A. in Education and Social Science from Ono Academic College in Haifa, alongside a B.Ed. and teaching certificate in Global Early Childhood Education from Gordon College of Education.
