There was also a special BBC podcast episode about Hand in Hand, where they interviewed Ned Lazarus, an expert in conflict resolution and a Professor of International Affairs who has been researching Hand in Hand since 2012.
He said: “In the communities where Hand in Hand exists, it’s already making a tremendous difference. Each one of those schools is more than just a school, but it is really an integrated community center which is bringing a new kind of potential for relationships across the communities. It’s a remarkable example of what is possible to do and achieve as a peacebuilding intervention in a place where the conflict is not at all resolved.”
